(jonas is never on the receiving end of hair ruffles, as tall as he is, so he ducks his head and leans into it with a low laugh. it feels nice, amicable, comforting. and it's good for them both, bonding out here like this. soren's a good guy.)
Alright, alright, we're good... nothing to see here... (time to rein the emotions in and get to hunting.)
I'm gonna' take all that as one big compliment, just so you know. Now we've gotta' keep our eyes peeled for some old tree. The guy called it a "crying tree," but that's about all he could give me for info.
[Soren laughs off the seriousness with Jonas, glad he's so chill. Time to focus up, though! They have a quest! Ahem...]
"Crying tree", huh... like ahh, what's that one kind called? With the long, hanging branches? A weepy-wallow? [weeping willow would be what he means, but Soren's far from an expert on... tree... ology...]
Probably? But, you know, the "weeping willow" version of "weepy-wallow." (if there's something jonas actually knows a thing or two about it's trees. trees are awesome, but the ones in the wilde kind of freak him out. they're all gnarled, spooky, and some carry the stains of cwyld infection.) Careful around these guys, though; I can't treat Cwyld infections yet.
It's horrible what it does to the wildlife out here...
